Design is how I think.
Building is how I prove it.
I grew up in a family where success was often defined by becoming an engineer or a doctor. So, for a long time, I followed the expected path and studied Engineering.
Along the way, I realised that I wasn’t only interested in how systems worked. I was equally curious about how people experienced them — how information was communicated, where people got stuck or misunderstood, and what made an experience feel intuitive and meaningful.
That curiosity led me to design. What kept me there was the opportunity to turn ideas into real digital products and moving images and put them into the hands of people to experience it.
With 4+ years of experience in startup environments, I’ve learned to work comfortably with ambiguity, communicate ideas through storytelling, and adapt to shifting priorities. I enjoy working within constraints and taking a systems-level approach to design — making thoughtful decisions about scope, fidelity, and complexity to move projects forward without losing sight of the bigger picture.
For me, design is where systems, people, and ideas come together.
Values I believe in.
The way I work is shaped as much by values as it is by craft. These are the principles I come back to when teams get messy, ambiguous, or high-stakes.
Disagree & express, but commit.
I care deeply about the quality of the work, so I’m not afraid to question design decisions or ask why when something doesn’t feel right.
I believe healthy disagreement leads to better work. But once a direction is chosen, I commit fully because teams move faster when we stop defending our opinions and start building together.
Lead when it needs
I believe leadership isn’t always about having the title. When a situation needs direction, I step up, take ownership, and help the team move forward. I’m comfortable making decisions, bringing clarity to uncertainty, and taking responsibility when things get challenging. But when someone else is better suited to lead, I’m equally comfortable supporting them and contributing fully.
Be kind, be true, be you.
I’d rather work with people who are real than people who are polished. Kindness is not weakness, and honesty is not rudeness. They’re usually the foundation for trust, clarity, and long-term collaboration.
What I do outside of work.
I watch a lot of movies.
I watch a lot of movies and don’t really have a favourite genre—I enjoy a film when it is good and well made. I’m especially interested in how a story is told: the shots, framing, editing, colours, and the filmmaker’s way of observing the world. Watching films, understanding how they’re made, exploring their stories, meeting filmmakers, and attending film festivals have always inspired me. This passion eventually led me to create and edit videos for companies, as well as personal projects with colleagues and friends, continually shaping how I see and create visual stories.
I invest a lot of time in communities, people and nature.
I enjoy being part of design and filmmaking communities, where I can learn, exchange ideas, and connect with people who share similar passions. I’m deeply curious about people—their emotions, perspectives, and intuitions—and enjoy being around designs films, art, and different kinds of people.
I’ve attended Kerala Design Week, IFFK, TIF, Kochi-Muziris Biennale, and Serendipity Arts Festival several times.
Spending time in nature also helps me slow down, process my thoughts, and reconnect with myself.
